Are The Gentle Label products safe for children/pregnant women/sensitive skin?

Yes, The Gentle Label products are all designed to be gentle on sensitive skin. However, everyone's skin is unique and there is always a risk that it may react to even the most natural ingredients. If you have concerns about a potential reaction, we recommend performing a patch-test by applying a small amount of product on the inside skin of the wrist first.

Our products are also safe for babies (6 months and above) and pregnant women. We fragrance our products with essential oil blends, never synthetic fragrance, and concentration of any one essential oil is low. If you have any concerns, we would recommend seeking medical advice before use.

Do The Gentle Label products have an expiry date?

The Gentle Label products feature all-natural ingredients and we steer clear of any synthetic preservatives. Therefore the best-before date ranges between 12 and 36 months from manufacture, depending on the product type. The period after opening symbol can be found on the product label. We recommend storing the products in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight to ensure they do not go off quicker than they should.

Are The Gentle Label products vegan?

Other than our Organic Healing Balm which contains beeswax, all other products are vegan.

Are The Gentle Label products organic?

At The Gentle Label, we strive to use organic ingredients as much as we can. However, organic certification is simply not available for certain ingredients.

To avoid misleading customers and in accordance with the stringent standards set by Soil Association, we only label our products as organic when they contain at least 95% organic ingredients. That said, all our other products contain at least 70% organic ingredients, a minimum criterion for carrying the Soil Association mark.

Are The Gentle Label products cruelty-free?

Absolutely, The Gentle Label products are not tested on animals.

Where are The Gentle Label products manufactured?

All our products are manufactured in the UK. We work with Soil Association-certified manufacturers who share our high standards to ensure transparency, purity, and quality.
